The Bureau of Maine Veterans' Services published a booklet on State of Maine laws that pertain to veterans. This booklet contains excerpts of the laws listed in the State of Maine statutes pertaining to veterans. The laws listed in this booklet are current through the Second Regular Session of the 126th Maine Legislature.  It was compiled by the Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services on September 29, 2014 and updated on April 28, 2015.

LD 721/HP 497: Resolve, To Establish the Commission To Strengthen and Align the Services Provided to Maine's Veterans (Passed 7/12/2015)

This resolve, passed on July 12, 2015, established the "Commission To Strengthen and Align the Services Provided to Maine's Veterans," which must report by December 2, 2015 with its findings and recommendations and suggested legislation to the Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs.
