A Guide for VA Fiduciaries (2013)
Category: VA Veteran Benefits
Some veterans become unable to manage their financial affairs during their lifetime. In these situations, an individual or an entity appointed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) receives VA funds on behalf of the veteran beneficiary. The purpose of the VA Pension and Fiduciary Service program is to ensure a veteran's benefit payments made to an appointed fiduciary are used for the well-being of the veteran beneficiary and the veteran's dependents.
