Veterans Justice Outreach Program & Contacts (Department of Veterans Affairs)

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Justice Outreach (VJO) Specialists work with community-based Veterans Treatment Courts (VTCs) and other veteran-focused courts and jails. VJO Specialists connect justice-involved veterans with VA services and work with courts throughout veterans' treatment programs. The program was founded in 2009 and in 2012, VJPs initiated an annual inventory of Veterans Treatment Courts.
